Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Fibly mobile game («Правда чи Брехня» / "True or False") collects, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Fibly is an independent game created and operated by Serhii Liakhovchuk, an individual developer based in Ukraine (the "Developer", "we", "us"). For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at app.soluhub@gmail.com. We are the data controller for the information described below.
2. What we collect
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the game:
- Guest play. You can start playing without an account. We then create an anonymous guest account that holds only a random identifier (UID) — no email, no name. Your progress is tied to that identifier and lives on this device until you save it by signing in (below). If you remove the app before signing in, the guest progress cannot be recovered. You can delete a guest account and its data in the app like any other account.
- Account data. You sign in with your Apple ID, your Google account or an email address and password. From that sign-in we receive a stable account identifier (UID) and your email address. A guest who signs in keeps the same identifier and progress. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we receive Apple's private relay address instead of your real one. We never receive your Apple or Google password. Signing in with Google also passes us the name and avatar picture on that Google account, which our authentication provider (Firebase Authentication) stores with your account record. We do not display or otherwise use them: your in-game display name is generated by the app from your account identifier and never uses your provider name, so it does not have to identify you. Signing in with Apple does not send us your name at all — we do not request it. You can change your in-game display name at any time in the app; it is the only name other players can see, on the leaderboard.
- Gameplay progress. Data needed to save your game: experience (XP), level, hearts, gems, boosts, medals, streaks, topics played, daily-challenge and weekly-league score, and answer history used to prevent cheating.
- Preferences. Settings such as language, colour theme, sound and haptics.
- Messages you send us. If you write to us from inside the app (feedback, a bug report, a report about a specific question, or an optional reason when you delete your account), we store what you wrote together with your app version, operating system and language so we can reproduce the problem and reply to you in the app. The reason you give when deleting your account is stored anonymously — without your account identifier or email — so it cannot be linked back to you.
- Device & usage analytics. Aggregated, technical information about how the app is used and any crashes, collected through Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (e.g. app version, device model, operating system, coarse usage events, crash logs). This data is not used to advertise to you.
We do not collect your contacts, precise location, photos or files from your device, or advertising identifiers, and the app contains no third-party ads and no cross-app tracking.
3. How we use it
- Provide the game and save your progress across sessions and devices.
- Keep scores and leaderboards fair (server-side anti-cheat).
- Understand and improve stability and gameplay through aggregated analytics.
- Respond to your support requests.
We rely on the legal bases of performance of a contract (running the game you asked for) and our legitimate interests (security and improving the app). We do not sell your personal data.
4. Processors & third parties
We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Crashlytics, App Check) as our infrastructure and data processor. Data may be processed on Google's servers, including in the EU (our backend region is europe-west) and, where Google transfers data internationally, under appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We use Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In to authenticate you; that sign-in, and your account with Apple or Google (including the app stores), is also governed by Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies. We do not currently use payment processors or advertising networks.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and gameplay data — including any support messages you sent us — for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, that data is permanently removed (see Delete Your Account). Aggregated or anonymised analytics and crash data that can no longer be linked to you may be retained to help us keep the app stable.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account and data directly in the app, or email us at app.soluhub@gmail.com and we will help. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
7. Children
Fibly is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact app.soluhub@gmail.com and we will delete it.
8. Changes & contact
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will change and, for material changes, we will provide notice in the app. Questions or requests: app.soluhub@gmail.com.
